The Transformers Battle for Cybertron Slot is a 5 reel, 4 row and 40 pay-line slot game from IGT. This is a medium variance game with an RTP of 95%.
IGT launched the Transformers slot in September 2013.
The game comes with Autobot and Decepticon wilds which can land on the 2nd and 4th reels. Once hit they fill the entire reel (Expanding Wilds). If you like these kinds of Arcade games, you should also check out the Space Invaders slot machine and Arcader.
There´s also an “Ultimate Payback” feature which is awarded by hitting both the Megatron and Optimus Prime bonus symbols on the first and fifth reels.
Transformer Slot Background
This Transformers game is based on the 1980′s cartoon classic and not on the more modern day version- so no prizes for guessing who they are targeting with this one.
IGT, the makers of Wolf Run and Siberian Storm, have been faithful to the original and used the same cartoon music and voice over in this game- if you were a fan back then, you´ll recognise much of the design cues.
The feature game is an Optimus Prime vs Megatron face off. There are plenty of wild symbols and extra features so you’ll find the smaller wins tick along nicely.
As a nostalgia game- this hits the spot. However, if you were never into the Transformers as a kid, you might not get it.

It´s a 5 reel slot. Autobot & Decepticon symbols are wild and when they appear on the 2nd and 4th reels respectively, they expand to fill up the whole reel (entire reel turns wild).
The Cybertron wild is both as a wild symbol and a multiplier bonus. When it lands on a payline you get the chance to select 1 of 3 bonus multipliers (randomly going from 2x to 10x) which multiplies your win by that number. The Cybertron wild only drops in on the middle reel.
Ultimate Payback
If you land the Optimus Prime AND Megatron bonus symbols, you get into the Ultimate Feature round. Take a pause for breath and in you go!
Optimus Prime takes on Megatron (“one shall stand… one shall fall”). It´s a straight out fight between them: you need to guess the winner.
Both transformers start off with a 3 level life bar and you get free spins. If a fight symbol lands the two transformers slug it out, and the loser loses one life point. You get free spins until one of the transformers is defeated. At the end of the bonus game, you win the combined amount of coins that was accumulated during the free spins plus an extra bonus if you managed to pick the winner at the start.
