You can’t change the number of active pay lines (it’s not that kind of slot), but you can change your bet level of course.
As long as you land matching symbols on adjacent reels from left to right, you will trigger a win. Hit the “Expert” button if you want to use the auto spin function, or just stick with the basic control panel: it’s up to you.

Free Spins in the Great Hall of Valhalla
Land three or more Hammers (Mjölnirs) to get into the Great Hall of Spins. The more times you get into the Great Hall, the bigger the number of options you will get. For example, the Valkyrie bonus gets you ten spins with a 5x multiplier from 1 to 4 visits.
After the fifth visit, you will get 15 free Loki-themed spins with the possibility of magic wilds on the third reel.

Thunderstruck II: A Hot Slot
The Thunderstruck 2 Slot is a hot game and one of Microgaming’s classics along with Immortal Romance! One of the best games from Games Global (ex Microgaming) since the Tomb Raider slot series and one that has aged well.
Each of the four Norse gods (Odin, Loki, Valykrie and Thor) is in charge of a bonus. When you first get into the Great Hall of Spins, only the Valkyrie option is available, but as you unlock the other gods with multiple entries into the bonus, the more options you will have.
There are no set pay-lines. You make wins by lining up three or more symbols on adjacent reels from left to right. So if you can see a Thor on reel 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 when the spinning stops, then that is a 5 Thor win which pays out 16.7x your stake.
You will need three Thor hammer scatters anywhere across the reels to trigger the free spins. These drop in with a resounding thud. So, let’s say you can see a Mjölnir (Thor’s hammer) on reels 1,3 and 4 when the reels stop spinning. Then you enter into the Great Hall of Spins where you will choose your free spins bonus.
