Instead of a standard set of reels and rows, Sidewinder, has been reconfigured to add extra zing to its game play.
This game has five rows, but the top and bottom only have three reels- the rest are arranged five reels wide.
Wildly Different
Those top and bottom rows kick into action when you land one of the three Wilds on offer.
The set includes a golden standard Wild, a blue Top Wild with an “up” arrow and a green Bottom Wild with a “down” arrow. The last two will only land in the top and bottom row of the game – and when they do, they activate these special rows. If you can get both of the Sidewinder reels activated at the same time you will increase your Ways to Win to 1125.
The Wilds substitute for all icons except the Free Spin Scatter icon which is the game’s logo.
The rest of the symbols are straight out of a traditional fruity in an American diner. The highest value icon is the Lucky 7. Landing 5 of these pays a x8 multiplier.
The other icons in play are the golden bells, the lucky horse shoe, the four leaf clovers and the BAR icon. The lower value icons of play are a card suit club, spade, heart and a star.
Free Spins
In the base game if you land 3 or 4 Scatter icons on reels 2 and 4 and the Sidewinder special reels, you’ll trigger 6 or 10 free spins. During this feature those Sidewinder reels can land Scatters as well as their individual Wilds and these bring one extra free spin with them.
If you land a Wild on the same position on each of the special Sidewinder reels, you can set off a potentially lucrative expanding Wild.
